Selleys BBQ Tough Clean actively removes grease and grime from BBQ plates, grills and racks. Its powerful, yet non-caustic formula contains special active ingredients which lift away the grease, grime, fat and charred food from your BBQ. Applied cold, its extremely easy to use and a great way to achieve a spotless and healthy cooking surface.

How to Use
  • Apply to a COLD BBQ only product may ignite with exposure to heat or flame.
  • Wearing rubber gloves, remove grills, racks and plates to be cleaned and place on a suitable surface prior to applying BBQ Clean.
  • Scrape/wipe off excess grease, grime and charred material.
  • Shake can well and spray liberally while holding can upright.
  • Allow at least 10 minutes before wiping with a damp cloth. A Selleys Super Cloth is ideal.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

    • Limitations:

    • Avoid spraying on brass and aluminium fittings and painted surfaces
    • Avoid contact with painted or plastic surfaces.
    • Do not allow any over spray to dry or stand.
    • Not recommended for BBQ surfaces other than hot-plates, grills and racks. For these surfaces use Selleys BBQ Exterior Clean & Shine.
    Handy tips
    • Brush cooking oil onto cleaned surfaces to prevent corrosion. (Particularly before long periods of disuse).
    • For stubborn stains allow BBQ Tough Clean to stand for 2 hours; scouring may be required.
    • If overspray goes on surfaces other than BBQ plates, grills and racks, then immediately wipe off thoroughly with a wet rag then dry area with a clean cloth.
    • Cold application only product may ignite with exposure to heat or flame.
    • Hotplates and grills must be removed prior to application. If hotplate or grill cannot be removed, wait for flammable gases to disperse before using BBQ (approximately 1 hour).
    • If nozzle on can becomes clogged, remove it from the can and rinse nozzle under water.
    • Use Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes every time you BBQ to prevent grease & grime build up and to lengthen the time between those big cleans.
