CABAC coated metal ties are made from hard-wearing, corrosion resistant 316-grade stainless steel. The additional epoxy resin coating is halogen free and serves a number of purposes. It eliminates the potentially sharp edges on stainless steel ties and creates a smooth, rounded surface that is safer to work with and won't damage cable.
